Last spring, I was invited to take a pre-opening sneak peek at Caesars Entertainment’s newest and only boutique property on the Las Vegas Strip, The Cromwell.
Recently, I returned with my husband for our seventh anniversary weekend to experience the finished product, and The Cromwell did not disappoint!
From the first moment of the two-day stay, everything was top-notch, exclusive and personalized. The bespoke touches of The Cromwell did not go unnoticed, from the champagne greeting, cocktail reception with a hotel executive at 5 PM daily, hot breakfast, coffee and beverage service on each floor, beautifully decorated rooms blending vintage design elements with Parisian flare and modern accents, high end toiletries and in-room honor bars. With its 188 rooms and suites, The Cromwell lives up to its promise to provide guests a luxury lifestyle experience, with special touches not available anywhere else in Vegas.
A stop at nightclub czar Victor Drai’s latest venue, Drai’s Beach Club by day and Drai’s After Hours at night, catapulted the traditional Vegas experience to new heights.
An impressive 35,000 square foot, multi-level venue, located on top the 11th floor of The Cromwell, Drai’s offers guests a 360-degree experience featuring unobstructed views of the Strip, multiple pools, two full bars, renowned resident DJs, luxury cabanas, exclusive VIP bungalows, signature cocktails and gourmet food. Again, the personalized touches were above our expectations, with our attentive club host and luxury VIP service…. first-class from our arrival — a scene from “La Grande Bellezza”!
The weekend was capped off with an exquisite meal at Giada, the new signature restaurant by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis. After a quick tour of the bread and antipasto bar, we were seated at an amazing table overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard, one of the most stunning terrace views in town. A delicious meal followed featuring Tuscan kale and prosciutto salad, succulent rack of lamb, delicious homemade breads and Italian wines.
De Laurentiis delivers on her promise. “My goal for this restaurant is to be able to share a part of my life, my culture and my family with every guest,” she comments. “I want each person to feel like they’re entering my home, receiving a big welcoming hug and enjoying a fantastic Italian meal.” Giada definitely embraces guests with open arms with outstanding food and excellent service.
Kudos to The Cromwell for providing an anniversary experience to remember!
