GBK, the luxury lifestyle gift lounge and special events company, honored GRAMMY Nominees and Presenters and other well-known music industry talent with a luxury gift and style lounge on February 11th, hosted at McLaren and Maserati Beverly Hills.
Celebrities in attendance included Diplo, Jake Miller, Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony, Drew Chadwick & Wesley Stromberg (Emblem 3), King (*nominated for Best Urban Album), SOFI TUKKER (*nominated for Best Dance Recording), Ricky Whittle, Matty Cardarople, Laura Spencer, Kandi Burruss, and many others.
This year, GBK’s event featured a tribute to our music past, showcasing artists that are no longer with us, including original artwork from Michael Jackson, a signed guitar from Prince, and numerous albums signed by such legendary artists as Whitney Houston, B.B. King, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Amy Winehouse and George Michael. DJ Tegan spun records from the music icons throughout the day.
Celebrities in attendance were excited to receive a wide variety of gifts, including Sound Bot Speakers, the Credit Accelerator app, stylish headphones by HIFIMAN, Argan Oil Ultimate Gold Hair Care set by Luseta Beauty, Minki Lash, the most natural-looking, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly Siberian mink lashes, GuiltySoles fashion forward footwear, and Audiopark headphones that wrap as a bracelet. Mobile medical spa DermaGo administered B-12 shots on site and offered certificates services at home.
Food and beverage sponsors included 4 Copas Tequila, wine by The Blending Lab and caterers Meal and Speil and Mr. Foodtastic and Sprinkles Cupcakes. For those who want to live on the edge a bit, Dot Com Vapor was there with their signature Premium E Liquid.
Make-A-Wish brought four kids to be treated like a celebrities for the day. The children received a variety of gifts including handmade leather hats by American Hat Makers, a certificate from Crystamas Inc. for beautiful holiday ornaments, organic and natural spa/bath products by Beauty Kitchen by Heather Marianna and Rosewill’s Prelude Headphones handcrafted from selected natural beech wood. The highlight was a chance to meet and take a picture with Jake Miller. Watchmaker Jiusko USA donated $3,000 to the foundation in the name of many of the talent that tweeted on their behalf.
